This is a Sci-fi Horror podcast I created called Mission Failed: Tales from the Darkside.
This was intended to showcase some creativity through sound design and story-writing. I wrote the entire series and did all the original voice acting. I used Ai vocal kits to transform my performances to add variety and context. ~ these conversions were further heavily processed and mixed to gain the desired results.
You will also hear sections of my raw vocal performances as Captain Morgan Reynolds throughout the series.
This is a Griever that has been designed for Minecraft.
The Developer tasked me with creating the Sound Effects for the motion of the griever. I used a mix of my own professional recordings which included spoons, drills, impacts, foley, and other utensils. This made up around 80% of the design. I then created the remaining 20% using a professional library to further sweeten the top end of the sounds.
The vocalisations of the Griever were my own personal recordings that were then heavily processed to gain the desired result.
I had also made the tension music for the purposes of this trailer.
This is a sound re-design I had made using my Broken Telemetry Sound Libraries.
This was only intended as a re-design to explore creativity avenues based purely on the user interface. There are no off-screen sounds or background ambiences.
I kept the processing fairly minimal ~ mostly down-pitching, EQ, stretching, and some light splicing, to see how far I could push the raw material while keeping it suitable at the time.
My goal was to keep it feeling digital and effective without overloading it with reverb and other effects.
This was a competition I entered earlier in 2025. The goal was to use the 100 sound effects provided to see what I could create. The original clip was quite void of sound and almost non-existent.
I then wrote a story to match the visuals, and performed all the vocal lines including the complete fabrication of the intro sound effect. I then processed them to achieve the desired results.
During this event, I had also composed the background music.
